On the membership route, medication is billed separately from the $135 monthly fee, and payment is taken only after a provider sends a prescription to a partner pharmacy. The bundle's own FAQ entry adds that a dose above standard titration may carry additional fees.

Prepay

The $106 semaglutide figure requires buying a three-month supply, which the FAQ says ships as three one-month vials in a single package. Members who take that supply may also receive 20 percent off the next two months of membership.

Cancellation

Memberships renew monthly and can be canceled at any time from the portal, but they cannot be paused, although medication shipments can be delayed. Canceling ends refills, prior authorizations and provider monitoring, and a buyer found ineligible for compounded medication is offered a refund.

How AM Rx publishes its prices

The membership is listed at a standard $135 a month, with a discounted first month advertised separately, and it excludes medication. Compounded semaglutide starts at $106 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $216, but both figures assume a three-month supply bought at 20 percent off. The bundle folds medication into one charge instead: $217 for the first month of semaglutide, then $297 a month after that. A first-month figure is a promotion, so the standing bundle rate is the $297.

What AM Rx is

AM Rx is an online care service operated by AM Rx, LLC, covering weight loss alongside primary care, mental health, birth control and several other programs. Its weight-loss program pairs a monthly membership with GLP-1 prescribing, coaching, and a coordination team that works on insurance coverage.

How it works

A buyer creates an account and answers an intake questionnaire, and a licensed AM Rx provider reviews it, which the FAQ says usually takes one to two business days. If a brand GLP-1 is prescribed, coordinators gather records and submit a prior authorization, and the insurer's own reviewers decide it, typically within 2 to 14 business days. When coverage is denied, the care team can move to compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide if the provider judges it appropriate. Once a prescription reaches the pharmacy, delivery typically takes 5 to 9 business days.

Branded or compounded

The insured route covers brand products named on the page, including Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro. The cash route is compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, which is not FDA-approved and is not reviewed by the FDA before it is dispensed. Members on Medicare or Medicaid are not eligible for the weight-loss program.
