Outside the headline

Medication and most lab testing sit outside the program fee; their cost depends on the member's insurance. The virtual visits themselves are not covered by insurance.

Prepay

Both terms are commitments, of 3 or 12 months; the 12-month term carries the lower monthly fee.

Cancellation

Early cancellation is allowed in two cases; a member found ineligible after the first consult may cancel. So may a member whose insurance will not cover the medication; neither case refunds prior program charges.

How Everlywell (Weight Care+) publishes its prices

The fee is $99 a month on a 12-month term, or $139 a month on a 3-month term. Twelve months at $99 commits a member to $1,188; medication is excluded from either fee. Without insurance or a discount card, the FAQ puts a one-month GLP-1 supply at $900 to $1,400. Most lab testing also sits outside the fee.

What Everlywell (Weight Care+) is

Everlywell is an at-home lab testing company. Weight Care+ is its virtual weight program, with clinician visits and GLP-1 prescribing. The program is also sold as an add-on to a Quest weight loss lab panel.

How it works

The first visit reviews medical history and any recent labs; a provider may then write a GLP-1 prescription. Monthly check-ins track weight, tolerance and refills. Staff help members pursue insurance coverage for the drug; only adults aged 18 to 74 are eligible.

Branded or compounded

Everlywell's FAQ states that it does not prescribe compounded GLP-1 medications. Its own information pages cover Wegovy, Ozempic and Zepbound; those brand products are FDA-approved.
