Sesame Care review

A subscription beside every price

Approved products at published prices, a fifty-nine dollar care subscription outside all of them, and a promotion still on the page after the date its own terms set.

What Sesame Care charges, and what it bills

One row per molecule and delivery route. Where the two figures differ, the struck number is what Sesame Care leads with and the figure under it is what a buyer cannot get below. Both are published by the seller; neither is a walked checkout.

  • Semaglutide, tablet: $149 for the low-dose Wegovy pill plus the same required $59/month care subscription. Six months comes to $1,248 rather than $894, a difference of $354.
  • Tirzepatide, injection: $299 for the 2.5 mg Zepbound vial via LillyDirect plus the same required $59/month care subscription. Six months comes to $2,148 rather than $1,794, a difference of $354.
  • Semaglutide, injection: $349 for the Wegovy injection plus the $59/month care subscription the page states is paid separately. Six months comes to $2,448 rather than $2,094, a difference of $354.

The 6-month column is the billed monthly figure multiplied by 6. It is arithmetic on published prices, not a forecast of a bill: a real six months also carries dose changes, labs and shipping, and those are covered below where Sesame Care states them.

The bottom line

Sesame Care publishes $349 for the Wegovy injection, $149 for the low-dose pill and $299 for the 2.5 mg Zepbound vial, read August 2026, with a required $59 monthly care subscription charged separately. The all-in figures are $408, $208 and $358.

What the figure does not cover

Fees, terms and cancellation at Sesame Care

Outside the headline
A care subscription of $59 a month is required and charged separately from the medication, read August 2026. It applies to every product and does not change as the dose changes, so it is a flat addition to whichever ladder a buyer lands on.
Prepay
A promotional rate of $199 a month for the first two months was advertised to new self-pay patients at the lowest doses only, and was still on the page in August. That sat after the end date the site's own FAQ terms give, so anyone relying on it should confirm in writing.

Pricing transparency

How Sesame Care publishes its prices

A month is $408 on the Wegovy injection, $208 on the low-dose pill and $358 on the opening Zepbound vial. The Zepbound ladder then climbs on its own: $399 at 5 mg and $449 from 7.5 mg upward, which takes the all-in to $458 and $508 while the subscription stays put. Six months at the pill rate is $1,248, and budgeting from the $149 alone understates that by $354.

The seller

What Sesame Care is

Sesame Care arranges approved GLP-1 products rather than compounded ones, pairing a medication price the manufacturer sets with a care subscription of its own that every buyer pays regardless of which product they choose.

How it works

The subscription is where the clinical relationship is priced and the page says so, which is clearer than burying it inside a single figure. The consequence is that no headline on the site is a number anybody pays, and the addition is left to the reader on every line.

Branded or compounded

Wegovy and the Zepbound vial are FDA-approved products supplied through the manufacturers' channels, so none of this is compounded and the caution this site applies elsewhere does not apply here.

Where the money holds, and where it moves

Predictable

  • Approved products, not compounded ones
  • The subscription is disclosed as separate
  • The Zepbound dose ladder is published
  • The low-dose pill route is genuinely cheaper

Moves, or is not stated

  • Every medication figure excludes $59
  • A promotion outlived its stated end date
  • The promotion covers the lowest doses only
  • Zepbound reaches $508 all-in at higher doses

Who this is worth it for

A buyer who wants an approved product and will add the subscription to every figure before comparing anything.

Who should price elsewhere

A buyer planning around the advertised $199, which covers two months, the lowest doses, and a window its own terms have closed.

Access reporter · Figures last read September 2026

Every figure above is what Sesame Care publishes on its own pages, read in the month stated beside it, with any charge a buyer cannot decline added back before anything ranks. The rules a price has to meet before it appears here are set out in the methodology. A partnership sets display order on the surfaces that say so and never moves a score — how this site makes money.

Frequently asked

What does a month really cost?
$408 for the Wegovy injection, $208 for the low-dose pill and $358 for the opening Zepbound vial, once the required $59 subscription is added to each.
Is the $199 promotion still live?
It was still being advertised in August, past the end date the site's own FAQ terms give. Confirm in writing before counting on it.
What happens at a higher tirzepatide dose?
The vial price rises to $399 at 5 mg and $449 from 7.5 mg upward, making the all-in $458 and then $508 while the subscription stays at $59.
Is Sesame Care expensive compared with other GLP-1 sellers by price providers?
Sesame Care publishes a starting figure of $208/mo. Across the 193 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $76 to $449 with a median of $179, which puts Sesame Care above the median. The other 7 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
